Flavia Daudt

Emerging from the vibrant colors of Rio de Janeiro, Flavia Daudt is a fine arts photographer, who resides in Miami, FL. Her roots were cultivated and continue to flourish in Rio, where she grew up surrounded by lush nature and environmental activism. Her images have a fascinating way of creating narrative and she strives to arouse emotion from every line of expression, symbol and light in her portrayal of the world.

Her photography is always in motion as it is an evolution in which, adding new elements, techniques and raw materials, allows her to create pieces that absorb all of her experiences and periods.

Flavia’s studies in Brazil, under the master and famous photographer Walter Firmo, have allowed her to explore the wonders of the world with a thirst for capturing beauty, color and light and grow as a professional. For that Reason, she is doing a MFA at Miami international University of Art and Design.

Currently, her work involves forming and fashioning visual compositions and the use of collage, applying various techniques to create each piece. The transformation of her original images encompasses analog collage, paired with natural elements, to create unique works of art that illustrate her relationship with the earth. Flavia’s storytelling remains mystical and perpetual throughout her artistry, as she shows her interpretations of poetry, perspective and movement.
